Dimensions and Weight
All dimensions stated are nominal and subject to manufacturing and loading tolerances. Hand riven products may have minor measurement variations from those stated.
Colour Variation
Due to the natural origin of our products, variations in colour and shade are unavoidable, even within individual pallets or bags of the same material. Some stone products may change colour after installation due to atmospheric exposure and chemical reactions. Some stone will have staining and residue from the quarrying process, but this will have no impact on quality or finish.
Delivery
Whilst every effort will be made to honour delivery deadlines, natural materials can be unpredictable in handling and deadlines may be subject to change. Grange Ornamental Stone Limited also cannot accept responsibility for late delivery where Third Party contractors have been used. These are private companies and are outside their control.
Health and Safety
Grange Ornamental Stone Limited may give general advice on products, but can take no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained in following it. Neither can we accept any liability in respect of products being used for any purpose other than those for which they were intended. As a natural product, defects such as cracking, flaking and erosion may emerge through time and exposure to weather or chemical action. Cutting of natural stone with high speed cutters and without water damping, will produce dust, inhalation of which may cause long term health effects. Suitable eye and respiratory protection is advised and recommended. Some stone products will vary in shape, size and weight, and are naturally abrasive. Hands and feet should be protected from harm and consideration should be given to safe handling and lifting techniques.
Prices and Payment
Prices, particularly relating to carriage may be subject to change without notice unless a fixed quotation has been provided in writing. For non account holders all goods must be paid for in advance of despatch and in full. For custom or made to order items, a 50% non returnable deposit will be requested before manufacturing begins with the remainder payable before despatch.
For account holders, payment must be received within 30 days of invoice date, unless prior arrangements have been made. Late payments will be subject to the terms of the EEC Late Payment Directive. All goods remain the property of Grange Ornamental Stone Limited until full payment has been received.
Returns Policy
Any defective items will be exchanged, unless the defect is a natural property of the material. Complaints should be received in writing within 7 days, and before fixing or installation. Grange Ornamental Stone Limited is not liable for any standing costs incurred by the customer, from trade specialists or sub contractors, due to faulty or disputed products or materials.
